Ann V. Malinics, 76, of Murphy died Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2005 at her residence. A native of Pittston, PA, she had lived in Neshanic Station, NJ before moving to Murphy in 1986. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Dorothy Daggett Irace. She retired from Johnson and Johnson in 1986 and was a member of the Saint William Catholic Church.
Surviving are her husband, George Malinics; a daughter, Debra J. Ciorciari and husband, Don of Middletown, PA; three sons, Thomas A. Malinics of Murphy, Martin G. Malinics and wife, Sheryl of Christiana, PA, and Michael J. Malinics and wife, Marilyn of Parlin, NJ; a sister, Dixie Corcoran; five brothers, Richard, Keith, Dennis, Allen, and Robert Irace; and five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11:00 AM Thursday, September 1, 2005 in the Saint William Catholic Church with Father George Kloster officiating.
The family received friends from 10-10:45 Thursday morning at the Saint William Catholic Church prior to the services.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in loving memory of Ann V. Malinics to the Good Shepherd Hospice, PO Box 465, Hayesville, NC 28904.
